Wk 6 Adjourning

Adjourning
This week I have learned about the five stages of team development: Forming, storming, norming, performing and adjouring.  The hardest good-bye with my group was when we get together as a family for meeting. It is really hard because when the family comes together for our family event they have to leave and go home. The hardest group that would be the hardest to leave would be my family because of their support that they gave for the reunion that we have every year. I thought that I would give them thanks you cards for helping out with the family reunion. I have seen how some of them had to travel away from their families to come to the family reunion support our family events. But everything has to come to a end when the family reunion event is over. Most of all my adjournment will be my family is getting together ever year to have a good time with each other’s and learn thing about each other new life. I imagine that I will adjourn from this group of colleagues in a different manor for some of my colleagues will actually participate in the graduation ceremony when I finished up with my diploma in Early childhood education at the technique college. I will graduation with my master degree this year and I will not be attending the ceremony. The stage adjourn play a big role in teamwork because we all have to work together.

Wk 5 Blog conflict resolution skills

Blog Wk 5
Conflict Resolution
I had conflict on my job about a week ago with a bus driver. I was walking to put my children on the bus and he stopped me at the door. He told me that I need to make sure that I know where my children are going before I put them on the bus. So I could not say anything because he caught me off guard while I had my children. I told him that I just do what the parents tell me what to do and I do not have anything to do with that. It upset me so bad that I had to tell my boss about and she told me not to worry about it that she will take care of it. A strategy that I can learn from is how to use your tone of voice when you are talking to somebody. I would just stay calms when somebody is very rude to me. I would have asked them to contact the parents about the children. I would make sure they hear both side of the situation before they make a decision. Yes, I can use the 3 R’s because he needs people to respect our thoughts and viewpoints it can help resolve conflict.

Wk 4 Blog Evaluated

Evaluated
While I was assess myself I learned a lot about myself on communication that I need to improve on. I need to work on how to speak in public with people.  What special me about my  cousin and co worker both assess me on how I engage in verbal aggressiveness and I score 20-35 and I thought that was good on that part because they both know me very well. Also both of my evaluated notice my weakness in the same area that I notices them. I am a trustworth person to people, building relationship, and that do sometime have something to do with my choice I make with people. We need to make sure we speak right in front of children when we are in the school setting. We need to make sure clear understanding with parents about their children to let the make the best choice for their children. As a teacher children depend on us like their parents.
