Wk 8 Blog Assignment: When I Think of Research...

 When I Think of Research...

My insight that I have gained from this course that I donot want to be a researcher the reason I say that is because you have to make sure you get the right information. It was also a stressful job for me to do the assignment but I make. The is my first time I ever did research on a topic in this course before but I see it is alot of work that you have to planned for before you get to the main point.

While finishing this course I see that researchers have alot cutout for them but I will give the the up most on their work.

Doing research is a lot of work because you have to come up with a researcher topic to get information on and study the problems. Some infromation cannot be solve in a day because it might take weeks, months, and years to complete. Research should be use to help children in the research to have a better program.

One of my challenge was developing a topic for my research and a questions that could do research on. I meet some of my research by doing research over my topic and talking to early childhood workers that are in the field.

One of my perception of early childhood professional is thank everybody in my classroom for helping out with each other. In this research I did not know what to extent to complete this course but I did it. I would use this issue to help educators better themself in a child environment for young children.

Chiquela,
I have not made many post because it has been very hard for me to link with my class. After reading your post today, I wish I had read more. I also think that I have a new respect for this class since I have taken this class. I really did not want to but I have made it over. Good luck to you in the future.

Hi Chiquela,
I agree, research can be very daunting. It is a journey of discovery. Discovering answers to questions, a quest to describe or understand. Any journey can have unanticipated surprises. It is these surprises that make the journey intimidating. But if we approach research systematically, with the right attitude, consider the surprises as challenges and be motivated, then the research can become meaningful and enjoyable. Hope your future classes will not be as stressful as this has been. It was stressful for me too as it was a new topic which I had no clue of and so had to do a lot of reading to make head and tail of it. I wish you all the best in your future endeavors. God Bless.

I agree!!! I too do not want to be a researcher after finishing this course. However, I am very grateful to researchers for providing the field of early childhood with valuable resources that assist me in my career as an early childhood professional. I do think that researchers and early childhood professional do share the commonality of staying objective. Objectivity is a valuable tool that is needed when working with children or adults because through our objectivity we are able to better accommodate the needs of children and their families instead of providing children and their families with resources that are not useful to their situation for various reasons.
