 When I Think of Research...

My insight that I have gained from this course that I donot want to be a researcher the reason I say that is because you have to make sure you get the right information. It was also a stressful job for me to do the assignment but I make. The is my first time I ever did research on a topic in this course before but I see it is alot of work that you have to planned for before you get to the main point. 


While finishing this course I see that researchers have alot cutout for them but I will give the the up most on their work. 

Doing research is a lot of work because you have to come up with a researcher topic to get information on and study the problems. Some infromation cannot be solve in a day because it might take weeks, months, and years to complete. Research should be use to help children in the research to have a better program. 

One of my challenge was developing a topic for my research and a questions that could do research on. I meet some of my research by doing research over my topic and talking to early childhood workers that are in the field. 

One of my perception of early childhood professional is thank everybody in my classroom for helping out with each other. In this research I did not know what to extent to complete this course but I did it. I would use this issue to help educators better themself in a child environment for young children.

 Research Around the World

The website I chose to explorer was Early Childhood Australia, 2012 that was interested to me. The international research topics that was on this website I check out was how they were going to improve children’s speaking skill; Literacy and numeracy week; Advanced teaching standards forums; and Early years learning framework online forum.

There is one section on the website titled that I was interest in “Special dates for early childhood ECA events calendar” and in a country like Australia thing happen all the time. I found a lot of topics that I was interest in but the one that catch my eyes where “Everyday learning about babies as amazing learners.” In this article it talk about how babies are amazing learner from birth and how they are build to learn from everything around us by watching us. It mainly talks about how babies learn through their parents. I really enjoyed reading about this article.

The website has all kind of information that you can uses and to put in your classroom. It gives information to parents on how they can work with their children. It also talk about how they have partnership in early childhood setting.

 Research that Benefits Children and Families

Option 2:
Imagine that you possess the means and the knowledge to conduct research studies about any topic in the early childhood field. Imagine further that you are not restricted by the reality of the present. Imagine that your study will make a major positive contribution to the well-being of children and/or their families. What topic would you choose? What can you imagine the positive contribution(s) would be?

I would do research on how children learn through play. I picked this topic because children do learn through play while they are in or outside. Children love to play outside on the playground to ride their bike and play with toys. I would let my children learn about the world for they want be lost. Play helps children with their physical development, cognitive concepts, language, and their social skills. With their physical skills children learns to balance, climb, and use their hands to grab objects. They also learn to solve problems with each other and thing.

As a parent we should make sure that our children learn through play. Parents should make sure they are involved in their children play. We should make sure we play with the child and not just watch them play. I think children love to be involved with parents while they are playing with them. They are so excited about how their parents be interact with them. I love interacting with my children at my job they like to play dress up with me.

I hope that this will help parents to be more interacting with their children while they are playing with their children while they are play. You have to ask different question to develop their learning skill to new words to use.

Educ 6162 Wk 8 Final Blog Assignment

~THREE CONSEQUENCES~

My three consequences of learning in this course is learning about poverty of the way families are living. I see how the world is today on how families are living poverty with no food, clothing, and no clean water to drink. My two consequences are how poor families’ children do not have a good education like the wealth families. The last consequence is that I never got a response back from the international person I contacted but I really want to have a contact with them.

My professional goal is to finish up with my degree and go back to school for computer information. One day I want to own daycare center or work at a computer places.

The issue regarding quality and early childhood professionals is where I live at and work. In the stated where I live and work you have to have a degree to teach in a public school and have certification to teach in Georgia.  Well I will start by telling you about a lady from the states come down to interview two of our teachers in Pre k. She was going to look over the classroom materials and observe us on how we teaching the children in the classroom. She picked the two classes when she gets here so we was on pins in needles because we know two of us were going to be pick. So when she got here it was my classroom another classroom picked. We were so nerve about her come in the room but it went by fast when she came in to observe.

We are required to keep up our training every year for the state. If we can afford to go back to school to get more knowledge. Some of my professional goal is to finish up my master degree and hope to teacher my on class one day. I hope one I will run my own daycare center in a small town for I can grow.

     My website I shared was Zero to Three and some of the links that I find on there were Behavior and development, maltreatment, cares and education, and public policy. I chose to look at the video of  “Starting Life Without a Home,” where it talk about how one and millions of children in the United States are homeless (Zero to Three, 2010). I have learned from the how the homeless people are living. The Zero to Three helps my understanding by helping children birth through three parents and caregivers my supporting their children learning. It helps children learning by four key skills like language and literacy skills, thinking skills, thinking skills and self- control. I explored the article “Time Off  With Baby” about the time off with baby on the first years of the baby life is very important to the mother. I gained information on how the foundation of the development, the way the parents are paid on the leave.

Getting to Know Your International Contacts—Part 2

One of my insights I have learned is that Zambian Early Childhood Development Project created comprehensive instrument for helping children physical, socio-emotional and cognitive development through their years in school.

My second insight in May of  2010 they created the Zambian child assessment test that measure child development with the new and the old develop items which to provide a broad assessment of preschool children in Zambian context.

For my third and final insight I find out that a Zambian child have not every seen toys or household items, for example like scissors that are most likely use in tests out  in the West.

My issue of equity and excellence from international sources from the Zambian Early Childhood Development Project stated that Zambia language and vocabulary have 70 different languages are spoken with make learning vocabulary difficult. Zambian Early Childhood Development Project hopes that they can collect enough data information that will help improve child development in the context but also identify key interventions that can rapidly change a developing world.
